Dear Friends,
We are delighted to invite you and your partner to a private dinner with Alexandra de Hoop-Scheffer, President of the German Marshall Fund in Washington, D.C.
Alexandra’s keynote, “The Future of the Transatlantic Relationship,” will address today’s geopolitical landscape and the outlook for U.S.–European relations from a security and economic perspective, followed by an open discussion with our group.
The German Marshall Fund (GMF), founded in 1972 as a gift of gratitude for the Marshall Plan, is a leading non-partisan think tank dedicated to strengthening transatlantic cooperation.
Recently relocated from Paris to Washington, D.C., Alexandra will be making her first official visit to New York in her new role. She has led GMF’s geostrategy policy and risk advisory initiatives across Europe, the United States, and the Indo-Pacific. She advises governments, multinational corporations, and financial institutions on political, geopolitical, and macroeconomic trends, helping them develop early-warning systems and forward-looking decision-making processes. Alexandra is actively engaged in shaping the transatlantic dialogue between the U.S. and Europe. You can find her full bio here.
