Politics

Rarely in our lifetimes have we witnessed changes in the global geopolitical and security situation as dramatic as what has unfolded over the past six weeks. While directionally well telegraphed before the election, the clarity and intensity of the new U.S. administration’s positions towards NATO, Europe, Ukraine, and Russia have left many shocked and struggling in the search for responses.

We are honored to have the opportunity for a discussion and hearing a uniquely qualified perspective from Lieutenant General (Retired) Ben Hodges, the former Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe (2014-2017). Ben is at home both in Germany, where he lives with his wonderful wife Alex, and in the U.S. Some of us have gotten to know Ben as a passionate professional who cares deeply about Trans-Atlantic partnership and friendship. And I am sure many of you have come across his profound contributions across many media outlets around the globe. For a full bio, please visit Ben Hodges | CEPA.

Ben will join us on April 2, 2025, at 6pm ET, for a discussion and dinner at:

Chef Simon – German Restaurant @Loft29, 208 West 30th Street, Suite 801, New York, NY 10001.

We are looking forward to an insightful evening!

P.S.: The event is set up as members-only given limited capacity. Depending on sign-ups, we may open it up for +1s closer to the event date.
